Getting your Pure device mounted cleanly and powered reliably makes a real difference to how useful it is on the road. The accessories in this range give you a secure, tidy, permanent setup that works every time you start the car:

The single biggest upgrade most Pure owners can make is switching from the 12V socket to a hardwired installation. Road Angel’s dash cam Hardwiring Kit connects directly to your vehicle’s fuse box, powering your speed camera detector from the ignition so it turns on and off automatically with the car, with no cables trailing down the windscreen to the cigarette lighter.

Get DAB Radio or Fix Your GPS Signal in Any Vehicle

Road Angel’s DAB antenna range gives any car access to DAB antenna car digital radio without major installation work. The RADAB1 windscreen antenna sticks to the glass with a transparent strip, keeping the interior tidy. 

The RADAB2 is an externally mounted amplified option for vehicles where an internal antenna isn’t practical or where stronger signal reception is needed. Both are compact, easy to fit, and compatible with any DAB-capable head unit.

Some vehicles can block the GPS signal that your Pure device needs to pinpoint camera locations accurately. If your device struggles to lock on or shows intermittent alerts, the External GPS Antenna is the fix. 

It mounts on the dashboard with an adhesive pad and connects directly to your Pure Touch, placing the GPS antenna car in a clear line of sight to the sky rather than behind a signal-blocking screen.

What is the difference between the windscreen mount and the dash mount?

The Magnetic Windscreen Mount attaches to the glass via a suction cup and positions your Pure device at eye level in your peripheral line of sight, the recommended position for speed camera detectors. The Magnetic Dash Mount uses a 3M adhesive pad to fix to your dashboard, keeping the screen lower and off the glass. Both use Road Angel’s magnetic connection system for quick removal and reattachment.

Do I need a hardwiring kit?

Not to use your Pure device, as it runs from the supplied 12V cable. But a hardwiring kit gives you a permanent, cable-free setup with automatic power on/off through the ignition. It removes the trailing cable from the cigarette lighter socket and is the preferred installation for anyone who wants a tidy, integrated result.

Why does my Pure device lose GPS signal?

Heated windscreens, privacy glass, and some metallised coatings can block or weaken GPS reception. If your device struggles to lock on or gives intermittent alerts, fitting the External GPS Antenna resolves the issue. It connects to the GPS port on your Pure Touch and is placed on the dashboard where it has a clear line of sight to the sky.

What is a DAB antenna, and do I need one?

DAB is digital radio that provides a clearer signal and more stations with no FM static. If your car stereo supports DAB but lacks an aerial, or if your current aerial gives poor reception, a Road Angel DAB antenna adds or improves that signal. The RADAB1 mounts internally on the windscreen; the RADAB2 is an externally mounted amplified version for stronger reception.

Can I use the Pure accessories on more than one vehicle?

Magnetic mounts can be moved between vehicles, provided you fit an adhesive pad or suction cup in each car. The 3M Adhesive Pad packs are sold separately so you can set up multiple vehicles without buying a full mount each time. The Hardwiring Kit is a permanent installation and is vehicle-specific.
