About The Bundle

Most dash cams require a smartphone and Wi-Fi connection to review footage. The Halo Play 4K solves this with a 3.2-inch built-in display. Pull up behind the scene of an incident, press play, and the footage is there. No app pairing, no Wi-Fi, no waiting. You can also use Wifi and the companion app for footage review on the go!  For drivers who encounter disputes on the road and want to resolve them quickly, this is an important distinction.

The camera records at 4K 2160p in front and sharp 1080p Full HD in the rear, using H.265 compression. The viewing angle is 139 degrees at the front and 126 degrees at the rear, and the aperture is F1.79, a wide opening that improves low-light footage quality. GPS data is recorded alongside video, so every clip has a verifiable speed and location record.

ADAS on the Halo Play monitors road conditions while you drive. Lane departure alerts fire if the camera detects an unintentional crossing. The forward collision warning system watches the vehicle ahead and provides an alert if the closing speed becomes unsafe. These are not substitutes for driver attention, but they add an active layer of awareness on motorway and dual-carriageway journeys.

The 64GB SD card in this bundle gives approximately and up to 4 to 5 hours of 4K loop recording. The camera supports up to 256GB. The hardwiring kit enables parking mode by connecting to the vehicle's fuse box, supplying continuous low-voltage power to the camera after the ignition is off.

installation is available. For a dual-channel system with a rear camera cable routed through the headliner and C-pillar, professional installation saves significant time and produces a clean, permanent result.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the Halo Play 4K Dual bundle?

The bundle includes the Halo Play 4K dual dash cam (front unit with 3.2-inch display and rear camera), a 64GB SD card, and a hardwiring kit. A 12V USB power cable and quick-release mount are also included. Both cameras are set up as a connected front-and-rear system.

Can I review footage on the Halo Play 4K without using the app?

Yes. The built-in 3.2-inch display lets you play back, review, and manage clips directly on the device. No smartphone or Wi-Fi connection is required for footage access directly on the Halo Play. The app adds remote download, live preview and settings configuration  when you do have a connection, but on-device footage review works independently.

What does ADAS do on the Halo Play 4K?

ADAS on the Halo Play provides three active alerts: lane departure warning if the camera detects you crossing lane markings without indicating, forward collision warning based on closing distance to the vehicle ahead, and front car movement warning when stationary traffic ahead begins moving. The sensitivity of all three is adjustable through the app.

Do I need the hardwiring kit for parking mode on the Halo Play?

Yes. Parking mode requires a continuous low-voltage feed that the 12V cigarette socket cable cannot provide after the ignition is off. The hardwiring kit connects to your fuse box and keeps the camera powered in standby. The G-sensor triggers full recording on movement or impact. A voltage cut-off protects your vehicle battery.

How much recording time does 64GB give at 4K?

At 4K with H.265 compression, a 64GB card stores approximately and up to 4 to 5 hours of continuous loop recording. The camera overwrites the oldest footage automatically when the card is full. For most drivers this covers a full day's commuting. The Halo Ultima supports cards up to 256GB, so you can extend retention by using a larger card.

Does the Halo Play 4K Dual bundle come with a Road Angel subscription?

No subscription is included or required. The Halo Play records and replays footage without one.All memory is stored locally on the included Automotive-grade SD card.  No. The camera records and uses all features without a subscription. Pair the Halo with a Road Angel Pure Sync adds the UK speed camera database, maintained by dedicated field operatives.

Is professional installation needed for the Halo Play 4K Dual?

It is not required, but recommended for a clean install. A dual-channel system involves routing the rear camera cable through the headliner, rear C-pillar, and boot seal, a job that takes a professional about an hour to do neatly. Road Angel offers installation at checkout.
