At 4K, number plate legibility improves significantly over 1080p. In disputed incidents, particularly those involving speed, distance, or third-party claims, this can make all the difference. The wider viewing angle of 139 degrees at the front and 126 degrees at the rear means the camera captures adjacent lanes, not just the road directly ahead.

The 64GB SD card in this bundle supports up to 256GB, and the camera uses H.265 compression. At 4K, a 64GB card gives you roughly up to 4-5 hours of continuous recording before the oldest footage begins to overwrite. That covers most driving days. If you use a higher-capacity card, you can extend retention accordingly.

Parking mode requires a hardwired feed, which is why the kit includes the hardwiring connection rather than leaving you to source one. Road Angel's kit connects to the fuse box, monitors battery voltage, and cuts power to the camera before your vehicle battery drops to a level that would prevent starting.
