Speeding tickets in the UK are at their highest level in four years, and the numbers continue to rise.

Recent data from IAM RoadSmart, based on DVLA findings, shows a 32% increase in drivers receiving penalty points between 2022 and 2025, with nearly one million motorists caught speeding in 2025 alone.
