The Halo Ignite 2 is the 2025 entry-level model in Road Angel's Halo range. It records in Full HD 1080p, connects via USB-C, and clips into a quick-release windscreen bracket for easy mounting and removal. The quick-release design is useful for shared vehicles or drivers who frequently park in high-risk areas and prefer to take the camera with them.
The camera uses autostart to begin recording whenever power is connected, and loop recording means the oldest footage overwrites automatically once the card fills. The 64GB card in this bundle gives approximately up to 10 to 17 hours of recording before overwriting begins. No manual setup required on the SD card.
Parking mode requires the hardwiring kit. The kit connects to the fuse box and maintains low-voltage power to the camera after the ignition is off. The G-sensor triggers full recording on physical movement or impact. Without the hardwiring kit, the camera stops recording when the engine turns off.
