Subscription summary
The summary below highlights important subscription terms. You should also read the complete Subscription Terms further down this page.
Speed-awareness and GPS tracker subscriptions normally have a fixed 12-month term, whether payment is made monthly or annually.
Subscriptions renew for another 12 months unless cancellation notice is received at least 20 business days before the renewal payment date.
Ending a subscription before the term expires does not remove the obligation to pay the full 12-month subscription price.

You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure and for controlling access to your computer, mobile device and account.
To the extent permitted by law, you accept responsibility for activity taking place through your account or password.
Notify us promptly if you believe your password or account has been accessed or may be used without authority.

- In a way that interrupts, damages or impairs a service or another person’s access;

7. Reviews, comments and user content
Visitors may submit reviews, comments, questions, answers, suggestions and other content where the relevant feature is available.
Submitted content must not:
- Be illegal, obscene, abusive, threatening or defamatory;
- Invade another person’s privacy;

8. Our liability
We aim to keep Road Angel Group Services available and electronic transmissions free from errors. However, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
Access may occasionally be restricted for maintenance, repairs, updates or the introduction of new features.
We will seek to keep the frequency and duration of planned restrictions reasonable.
Subject to rights and responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, Road Angel Group will not be responsible for:
- Losses not caused by a breach on our part;
- Business losses, including lost profit, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure; or
- Indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the service began.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This does not remove any legal right to receive goods or services within a reasonable time, or an applicable right to a refund where goods or services cannot be supplied.
9. Applicable law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, the English courts will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or connected with these terms.
10. Changes to services and Conditions of Use
We may update Road Angel Group Services, policies, Conditions of Use and applicable Service Terms.
The terms applying to you will normally be those in force when you use the relevant Road Angel Group Service.
If any condition is found to be invalid, void or unenforceable, it will be treated separately without affecting the remaining conditions.
11. Waiver
If you breach these Conditions of Use and we do not take action immediately, this does not prevent us from exercising our rights in relation to that or another breach.

Please read these Conditions of Sale before placing an order with Road Angel Group.
By placing an order, you agree to the applicable Conditions of Sale.
These conditions govern the sale of Road Angel Group products and services. Additional Service Terms may apply to customer profiles, gift cards, mobile applications, connected products and subscription services.
Where the Conditions of Sale conflict with specific Service Terms, the applicable Service Terms will take priority.
Where these Conditions of Sale conflict with the Subscription Terms regarding contract length, payment, automatic renewal, cancellation or early exit, the Subscription Terms will apply.
1. Our contract
Your order is an offer to purchase the products and services shown in that order.
After an order is placed, we will normally send an email acknowledging receipt and providing order details.
That acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order. It does not itself confirm acceptance of your offer to purchase.
2. Cancellation rights, exceptions and voluntary returns
Statutory cancellation right
Unless an exception applies, a consumer may cancel an eligible order without giving a reason within 14 days.
For goods, the 14-day period normally begins when:
- You receive the goods;
- A person nominated by you receives the goods; or
- You receive the final item, lot or part where goods are delivered separately.
For eligible services or digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the period normally begins when the contract is concluded.
How to notify us
You may tell us that you wish to cancel by:
- Calling 0330 320 3030;
- Emailing sales@roadangelgroup.com ; or
- Writing to Road Angel Returns, DB House, Rani Drive, Nottingham, NG5 1RF, United Kingdom.
Contact Customer Service on 0330 320 3030 for further information about the cancellation process.
Effects of cancellation
Goods must be sent to Road Angel Returns, DB House, Rani Drive, Nottingham, NG5 1RF, United Kingdom no later than 14 days after you communicate your cancellation.
Unless our UK free-returns process below applies, you may be responsible for the direct return cost.
You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect the nature, characteristics and operation of the goods.
Exceptions to cancellation
The cancellation right does not apply to certain products or services, including:
- Products unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after being unsealed;
- Products that become inseparably mixed with other items after delivery;
- Sealed audio, video or software products after the seal has been broken;
- Products made to your specification or clearly personalised;
- Products that deteriorate or expire rapidly; or
- A fully completed service where you agreed that performance could begin and acknowledged the relevant effect on the cancellation right.
Returned goods should include the original packaging and all accessories supplied at the point of sale.
If goods are returned damaged or with missing packaging or accessories, we may make an appropriate deduction or charge where permitted.
Voluntary returns guarantee
Our voluntary returns arrangements apply in addition to, and do not replace, statutory consumer rights.
- A subscription connected to a physical product may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase if it has not been used or activated.
- Subscription cancellation requests may be made by telephone, email or post using the contact details above.
- Eligible physical products and sealed items may be returned within 30 days of receipt if they remain undamaged and, where applicable, unopened or sealed.
Physical products may be returned using the “Return a Device” option in the customer-account area, where available, or by post to Road Angel Returns.
The voluntary 30-day arrangement does not apply to digital products or software not supplied on a physical medium, including activated subscription services.
Under the voluntary guarantee, the product price may be refunded, but original delivery costs may be excluded.
Unless free return instructions are supplied under the process below, return costs and transport risk may remain with the customer.
Cancellation, returns and refunds — United Kingdom
Automated fulfilment
We use automated order-processing and fulfilment systems. As a result, we cannot guarantee that an order can be stopped after it has been submitted, even where you contact us shortly afterwards.
Cancellation before dispatch
If we receive a cancellation request before dispatch and can successfully stop the order, we will cancel it and issue the applicable refund. No return will then be required.
Orders already dispatched
If the order has already been dispatched and cannot be stopped, your request will be treated as notice that you wish to cancel.
You may still exercise applicable statutory rights and return the goods through our returns process.
Free returns for cancelled UK orders
We offer free return arrangements for cancelled orders returned in accordance with these terms and our returns instructions.
Where applicable, we will provide a prepaid method or other instructions allowing the relevant item to be returned without a return charge.
Meaning of “dispatched”
An order is treated as dispatched after it has been handed to our carrier or fulfilment partner and a dispatch confirmation has been generated.
Dispatch may be evidenced by a carrier acceptance scan or the time recorded in our order-management system.
Refunds
After receiving the returned goods, or acceptable evidence that they have been returned, we will process the refund in accordance with applicable regulations.
This may include the product price and, where required, the cost of standard delivery.
3. Pricing and availability
Prices displayed to UK customers include legally applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
Product pages may show availability information. More precise availability may not be possible until the order is processed.
If an ordered item is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and will not charge you for that unavailable item.
Delivery estimates are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery times unless we expressly state otherwise.
Despite reasonable care, a product may occasionally be shown at an incorrect price.
If the correct price is higher, we may contact you before dispatch and ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price, or we may cancel the order.
If the correct price is lower, we will charge the lower amount when fulfilling the order.
4. Product information
Unless stated otherwise, Road Angel Group is the manufacturer of products sold on this website.
We take reasonable steps to keep product information accurate. However, packaging, materials, specifications and included information may differ from website descriptions or may be updated.
Website information is supplied for general information. Always read and follow product labels, instructions, safety information and warnings supplied with the product.
5. Our liability
Subject to responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, Road Angel Group and its affiliates are not responsible for:
- Losses not resulting from a breach by Road Angel Group;
- Business losses, including lost profit, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data, goodwill or wasted expenditure; or
- Indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the sale contract was formed.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.
This does not affect applicable rights to receive products within a reasonable time.
Where a delay occurs before dispatch, you may cancel the order, and we will not charge for products that have not been dispatched.
6. Applicable law
These Conditions of Sale are governed and interpreted under applicable UK law, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
The courts of the United Kingdom have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
A consumer may also be able to bring a claim in the EU country where they live. Consumers habitually resident in an EU country retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws applying in that country.
7. Changes to the Conditions of Sale
We may update our website, policies and Conditions of Sale.
The conditions applying to an order will normally be those in force when the order is placed.
A legally required amendment may apply to an earlier order where required by legislation or a government authority.
If one provision is found to be invalid, void or unenforceable, it will be separated without affecting the remaining Conditions of Sale.
8. Waiver
If you breach these Conditions of Sale and we do not act immediately, we may still exercise our rights regarding that breach or a later breach.

Subscription Terms — Speed Awareness and GPS Trackers
These Subscription Terms apply to paid services for Road Angel speed-awareness products and GPS trackers, including services accessed using the Halo Secure app.
They form part of the Conditions of Use and Conditions of Sale.
If another section conflicts with these Subscription Terms regarding the minimum term, payment method, automatic renewal, cancellation or early exit, these Subscription Terms will take priority.
Important subscription commitment
Unless a different term is clearly stated during checkout, the subscription is a fixed 12-month agreement.
Selecting monthly payment means paying the 12-month price in instalments. It does not create a monthly rolling contract.
S1. Services covered
These terms apply to paid subscription services for:
- Speed-awareness products: Including Road Angel Pure, Pure One, Pure Touch, Pure Sync and similar connected speed-camera or speed-limit alert products.
- GPS tracker products: Including SIM and mobile-network connectivity, the Halo Secure app or tracking portal, vehicle-location information, geofences, movement alerts and related support.
Depending on the selected speed-awareness plan, the service may include live camera and hazard information, road-speed data, smart-motorway or variable-limit data, over-the-air firmware updates and an extended warranty dependent on an active subscription.
The physical product is not itself the subscription service. Some connected products may have limited or no live functionality without an active subscription.
The features supplied are those described on the applicable product, subscription or renewal page at the time of purchase or renewal.
S2. Minimum term — 12 months
Unless checkout clearly states a different term, each subscription has a fixed minimum duration of 12 months.
The term starts when the service is activated or, if later, on the date stated in the order confirmation.
| Payment option | How the payment is collected | Contract duration |
|---|---|---|
| Annual payment | The complete 12-month subscription price is collected in advance. | 12 months |
| Monthly instalments | The 12-month price is divided into 12 monthly payments collected under the Continuous Payment Authority. | 12 months |
Paying monthly does not create a month-to-month agreement. The monthly payments are instalments of the full 12-month subscription price.
S3. Automatic renewal
Unless cancellation is completed in accordance with section S5, the subscription will automatically renew for another 12-month term.
The renewal will be charged at the price applying to the same plan at that time.
If the existing plan is no longer offered, we may identify the nearest equivalent plan.
We will provide reasonable advance notice of the renewal date and renewal price. Notice may be sent by email or displayed in the customer account or portal.
On renewal, we will either collect the annual payment or continue collecting monthly instalments using the payment method held on the account.
To prevent automatic renewal, notice must reach us at least 20 business days before the renewal payment date.
If notice is received later, the next 12-month term may already have started and the renewal price may be payable.
S4. Consumer cooling-off period
A consumer may cancel a new subscription within 14 days of purchase where the service has not been activated and the customer has not asked us to start it.
This is subject to the cancellation and returns provisions in the Conditions of Sale.
If you ask us to activate the product, GPS tracker, Halo Secure service or live data during the 14-day period, you agree that provision of the service has started.
This may affect or remove the statutory cancellation right, except where the law still requires cancellation or a refund, such as where Road Angel Group is in breach.
Where permitted by law, a reasonable charge may be made for services already supplied.
S5. Cancelling renewal or ending the account
You may submit a cancellation request by:
- Emailing sales@roadangelgroup.com ;
- Calling 0330 320 3030; or
- Using a cancellation option in your customer account, where one is available.
Please include:
- Your full name;
- Your account or order number;
- The email address registered on the account; and
- The product or tracker serial number, where available.
Notice intended to stop a recurring card payment must reach us at least 20 business days before the collection date.
Cancellation of automatic renewal takes effect after the current 12-month term finishes.
Subscription services will continue until the end of the paid term, provided the account remains fully paid and in good standing.
S6. Early exit — full term remains payable
If you ask to end the subscription before the current 12-month term or renewal term expires, the full price for that term remains payable.
- Annual plans: Payments made in advance will not normally be refunded for unused months, except where the law requires a refund or Road Angel Group agrees otherwise in writing.
- Monthly instalment plans: The unpaid instalments for the remainder of the current 12-month term will become due immediately. We may collect the balance from the registered card or issue an invoice.
- Connected services: Live services may stop after the balance is paid or where the account is closed because of non-payment.
This section does not affect statutory rights where a product or service is faulty, misdescribed or otherwise supplied in breach of contract.
It also does not affect an applicable cooling-off refund under section S4.
Cancelling a Continuous Payment Authority or asking a card provider to stop collections does not cancel amounts already owed under the 12-month agreement.
S7. Failed payments and suspension
If a payment is unsuccessful, we may retry it in accordance with the Continuous Payment Authority section.
Until the account is brought up to date, we may suspend:
- Live speed-camera or road-speed data;
- GPS tracker connectivity;
- Halo Secure app or tracking-portal access;
- Location, movement and geofence alerts;
- Over-the-air product updates; and
- Other subscription-dependent features.
If the account remains unpaid, we may terminate the subscription.
Suspension or termination for non-payment does not cancel the unpaid balance for the current 12-month term.
S8. When a subscription ends or is suspended
The physical Road Angel product remains your property.
When a subscription expires, ends, is suspended or remains unpaid:
- Live speed-camera, hazard and road-speed information may stop;
- Smart-motorway and variable-limit information may stop;
- Over-the-air updates may stop;
- Any extended warranty dependent on an active subscription may end;
- GPS tracker mobile-network connectivity may stop;
- Halo Secure app or tracking-portal access may stop;
- Location, geofence and movement alerts may stop;
- A last-known tracker position may remain visible for a limited time; and
- Features not requiring a live subscription may continue where described on the applicable product page.
Some connected Road Angel products may have little or no useful live functionality without a subscription.
Reconnection after a period without service may require:
- A new 12-month subscription;
- A registration or reactivation fee where reasonably charged;
- Reactivation of the tracker SIM or network service; or
- Relinking the tracker to a Halo Secure account.
A subscription is not normally transferred from a previous owner.
Registering a Road Angel product purchased outside our sales channels may require a registration fee, currently £19.99 or the fee published on our website at the relevant time, together with a new subscription.
S9. Price changes
The price for the current 12-month term is the amount displayed during checkout or, for a renewal, the amount shown in the renewal notice.
We may change the price applying to a future renewal term. We will notify you before that future term begins.
We will not normally change the price during an existing fixed term, except where required by law, such as following a change to VAT.
S10. Speed-awareness products — important limitations
Speed-awareness products and live data are driver-assistance aids only.
Camera locations, speed limits, road layouts and smart-motorway limits may change.
Mobile-network coverage, satellite reception, GPS accuracy and update timing cannot be guaranteed in every location or at every time.
Drivers remain responsible for complying with road-traffic law, observing road signs and driving safely.
Subject to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, Road Angel Group does not accept responsibility for fines, penalty points, disqualification, insurance consequences or accidents resulting from reliance on alerts or missing, inaccurate or delayed information.
Unless the relevant product page states otherwise, Pure-series speed-awareness products use GPS in real time to provide alerts and maintain the device.
Location information generated by those speed-awareness products is not stored or transmitted by us as a journey-tracking history.
S11. GPS trackers, Halo Secure and lawful use
Road Angel GPS trackers and the Halo Secure app must only be used in accordance with UK law and the law applying in any other country where the service is used.
- You must not track a person, vehicle or other property unless you have a lawful basis to do so.
- A lawful basis may include owning the vehicle or obtaining informed consent from the person being tracked.
- Covertly tracking a partner, employee, tenant or another person without a lawful basis may breach criminal or data-protection law.
- You are responsible for managing access granted to other users through Halo Secure or the tracking portal.
- You must remove another user’s access when that person is no longer authorised to view the tracker or vehicle location.
- You are responsible for personal information collected through your use of the tracker, except to the extent Road Angel Group processes that information to provide the contracted service.
We process relevant account information, tracker identifiers and location information to:
- Operate the GPS tracking service;
- Display vehicle and tracker information through Halo Secure;
- Maintain SIM and mobile-network connectivity;
- Provide geofence, movement and location alerts;
- Protect accounts and prevent misuse;
- Support and improve the service; and
- Meet applicable legal obligations.
Further information is available in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
We may suspend or terminate a GPS tracker or Halo Secure subscription without refunding the remaining term where we reasonably believe the service is being used unlawfully.
S12. Acceptable use
You must comply with applicable road-traffic, privacy, employment, data-protection and product-safety laws.
You must not:
- Modify software, firmware or hardware to bypass subscription controls;
- Tamper with a tracker SIM or network credentials;
- Share live tracking data commercially without authority;
- Attempt to access another customer’s account or tracker;
- Use the service to unlawfully monitor, intimidate or harass a person;
- Use the service to commit or conceal an offence; or
- Use the service in a way that may damage or overload our systems.
We may suspend or terminate the subscription following a material breach of this section.
Any unpaid balance for the existing 12-month term will remain payable.
S13. Networks and third-party services
Connected devices and Halo Secure may depend on:
- GPS satellite availability;
- Mobile-network coverage;
- SIM connectivity;
- Cloud-hosting services;
- Mapping services;
- Push-notification services; and
- Third-party data providers.
These external services may occasionally be unavailable, interrupted, delayed or withdrawn.
Subject to liability that cannot legally be excluded, Road Angel Group is not responsible for outages or failures outside its reasonable control.
SIM cards, mobile-network credentials and associated connection details supplied as part of a Road Angel tracker service remain Road Angel Group property and must only be used in the product for which they were supplied.
S14. Business customers
A customer purchasing wholly or mainly in connection with a trade, profession or business is treated as a business customer.
Consumer cooling-off provisions in section S4 do not apply to business customers.
The following provisions continue to apply:
- The fixed 12-month subscription term;
- Monthly payments being instalments of the 12-month price;
- Automatic renewal;
- The 20-business-day cancellation-notice requirement;
- The obligation to pay the remaining term following early exit;
- Failed-payment and suspension provisions;
- Lawful and acceptable-use requirements; and
- Applicable limitations contained in the Conditions of Sale.

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we may make the following payment options available:
- Pay Later in 3; and
