The SD card is not supplied with the Dashcam, we recommend purchasing a high endurance automotive grade SD card by Road Angel.
The Halo Play has a max capacity of 256GB. A Class 10 U3 Micro SD card must be used.
If you’d like to use the 2-tier parking mode functionality you will need to use the RA7300C hard wiring kit from Road Angel and the adapter enclosed in the box.
Nothing to worry about, if you plug into the 12v socket the dashcam will only work when your power feed (ignition) is on so the battery can't be depleted. If hardwired for additional features, the hardwiring kit has a protection mechanism and will cut power to the dashcam if ever the power feed gets too low in the car.
No, this is basic practice and not recommended by Road Angel. The phone does not require only power feed and compatible memory. You only need to use your phone (when safe to do so) to Download or view footage and to optimise or change settings.
Simply follow the Quick Start Guide and scan the QR Code to download the Correct “Halo Playback App”. You must connect to the dashcam hotspot using the password shown on the app screen. You can then access the settings/footage on the dashcam. You can also change the password for extra protection.
There is no subscription required for Road Angel Dashcams.
All Road Angel Dashcam come with an industry-leading 3-year warranty.
The App features 16 languages to choose from and the On-screen display has options for English, German, French, Polish & Dutch.
You can do this when connecting to the Halo Playback App within the Settings options.
