The Halo Drive 2K packs 2K 1440p recording into a compact body with no screen and a low profile behind the mirror. It connects to the Road Angel app via built-in Wi-Fi, which means footage is accessible on your phone without plugging in an SD card reader. The app handles download, playback, and basic clip management.
At 2K (2560x1440p), the camera produces footage that is meaningfully sharper than 1080p. Number plates and vehicle details at distance are clearer, and the footage holds more detail when zoomed in during review. The 140-degree field of view and CMOS sensor cover a wide angle of the road ahead.
Parking mode requires the hardwiring kit in this bundle. When connected to the fuse box, the G-sensor monitors for movement and impact in standby. The battery voltage cut-off prevents drain. Loop recording at 2K with a 64GB card gives approximately 7 to 9 hours of footage.
